Canadian governments engage in e-waste clean up
Provincial and municipal governments are highlighting programs to help manage electronic waste disposals by residents and businesses within their jurisdictions, and ultimately reduce the amount hazardous electronic waste in landfill sites. How Manitoba, Saskatchewan and the City of Toronto are turning green.

October 27, 2007 - I am one of the first from my area to recognize E-waste and want to do something about it and I have contacted a couple places in Canada as to how they were going about - one in BC and one in Ontario. I thought I could get into it myself but because government wants specific people to run it and I am a disabled person with little start-up money, they pushed me out of it mostly.
If I had the money I would still like to be in it but funding is difficult under conditions where you are lost in a time where disabled are classed lesser than norm. I still fix the odd piece of electronics equipment and so I still am aiding in this work indirectly. I just wish government would assist me in the way they do large monopolies and such.
I want work more than anything else in my last few years left I have on this beautiful planet. It's so sad to watch it being destroyed slowly but surely just as the day dawns and brings a beauty with splendor uncopiable by man. We want what's best for our children so use every endeavor to make the wonderful sunrises and sunsets and beatiful landscapes that God gave us stay as beautiful as a new baby born or a tiny kitten playing with another. A deer with a new fawn,B a polar bear and her cubs just to name a few of wonderfuuly made things God gave us to care for and by caring for these well we unintentionally look after ourselves and this planet.
